General Manager, UL EHS Sustainability
Mark Ward is Vice President and General Manager of UL EHS Sustainability, leading an international team of more than 400 employees who empower organizations to protect the well-being of workers, reduce risk, improve productivity, enhance compliance, and drive measurable business improvement. Mark’s business passion is in driving customer value with technology-based applications. Under his tenure, UL has expanded and strengthened its EHS, occupational health, training, environmental, supply chain, sustainability, and corporate social responsibility software platforms to reach 2,000 organizations worldwide in more than 20 industries. Mark was formerly the Director of Sales and Marketing for the organization.
Before arriving at UL, Mark held several senior global leadership positions at Thermo Fisher Scientific. He has also led a variety of commercial, operational, and product management teams at companies including IBM, Dendrite International, and Parametric Technologies Europe. Mark received his BS in Industrial Engineering from the University of Wisconsin and his Master’s degree in Financial Planning at the University of Dallas.
